Inflatables

Ideal for climate-controlled environments, these inflatable seals form an airtight barrier between the truck and building. Unlike foam dock seals, Metro Dock Inflatables inflate only after the truck is in position, reducing stress on the building wall.

S50 – Inflatable Stationary Truck Shelter

The S50 allows completely unobstructed access to the trailer while creating an airtight seal around the truck. The air bags of the S50 inflate after the truck is in position and easily retract behind the side curtains for safe storage when not in use. The raked header allows water to drain off to the sides, keeping the loading area dry.

Specifications

  • For openings ranging from 8’ wide x 8’ high up to 10’ wide x 10’ high
  • 115 volt, ½ HP motor, and blower on all units
  • Moisture drainage holes
  • 24″ Yellow guide stripes
  • Double stitching on all seams
  • Aluminum trim covering all exposed edges (where applicable)
  • Kiln-dried lumber frame construction (where applicable)
  • Bottom pads with “NO STEP” decal (where applicable)

S51 – Inflatable Header / Foam Side Pads

The best of both worlds, the S51 combines the durable foam side pads from the dock seal with the inflatable header to accommodate trucks of varying heights. The raked header allows water to drain off to the sides, keeping the loading area dry.
